Ok... where or how or who else am I suppose to seek answers from? (This is why I resorted to Lemmy World. - Which I'm now unfortunately banned from.)

You're not going to believe this: I was permanently banned from both these subreddits, r/SFXLibraries and r/AudioPost for "piracy efforts"! Where or how did I commit "piracy" in any of these reddit posts?! Only adding insult to injury; I got immediately muted from contacting both subreddit admins for 28 days! I didn't even mention anything pirate-related like keygens or torrents. I just asked for help to locate these sound effect and music libraries.

So therefore, I need to ask somewhere else. But even those other sites aren't fairing any better! - My Deviantart journal included.

I thought hard and I tried, and low and behold: they all deleted my question or block me because I "attempted illegal shares" or the question doesn't really fit their forum site.

Obviously, when there's a question, it needs answers! What is an animation video without music or sound effects?!

Why don't you give me advice where I can seek this answer, because I am running out of places to try. And so far, no luck on The VG Resource either.

Speaking of which, did they totally forget about iOS Jailbreaking, reverse engineering, and The VG Resource? These are ways to acquire things without getting into trouble.

Why do you think sites like The Models/Spriters/Sounds Resource exist? To help others acquire games' decompiled assets - such as models, sprites (for things like a HUD or UI), OSTs/BGMs (Background Music or Original Sound Tracks) and, of course - sound effects. We've been putting OSTs and BGMs onto YouTube with almost no problems. So therefore, who should bother to care in this situation? This is no different than turning off the music in the game's options menu and playing with just sound effects enabled. And you can cue that sound effect in the game as much as you want to your heart's content.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: Rayman for PS1, Toys VS Nightmares for PC flash, Jackie Chan Stuntmaster, and Crisis Beat all utilize some sound effect files from The Cartoon Trax 1. And right now, I'm trying to locate the source of Crisis Beat's "anime-style" sound effects (the kind we heard in Alvin Earthworm's Super Mario Bros Z). Thanks to this, I'm getting better at expanding my vocabulary knowledge in terms of sound effect names (E.G, the sound that cues when an object appears in Rayman is a cartoon xylophone and Rayman's running sound is a cartoon horse galloping in Cartoon Trax 1.) Now I can better visualize how these sound effects got their names when they were first created.

So now I know where to begin my search for the sound effects from my past to today! But there's a glitch: some of these albums don't appear on Source Audio. I searched all over Source Audio (https://soundideas.sourceaudio.com/albums), but no luck. So I need help to acquire any discontinued or archived sound effect libraries like this if possible. Here's the links to the Hollywood Edge and Sound Idea's wiki pages to show the list of libraries they made; some of them don't appear on Source Audio, so I need help finding an archive of some of their discontinued libraries somewhere:
https://soundeffects.fandom.com/wiki/Sound_Ideas_Canada_Ltd.
https://soundeffects.fandom.com/wiki/The_Hollywood_Edge

It's imperative I get it in their original unedited sound file form and in MP3 as .wav is too big and .ogg could crash certain programs like Vegas Pro.

Here are the sound libraries I've been logging since I first began digging through my favorite TV shows, movies, cartoons, and video games that also don't appear on Source Audio: DePatie, DFE, Disney, Elektra Records, Famous Studios, FOX, Star Trek: Original TV Series, Joel Valentine, Hacienda, Hanna Barbera, Horta, Horta Hacienda, Alex Fresno, BBC, Bob Clampett, Harry Bluestone, Nickelodeon, Nelvana, New Warner Bros, NTWK, OMI, Pro Sound Effects, PSEL, Rocky and Bullwinkle, 20th Century Fox, Audio Effects Co., Rich Harrison, Mark Mangini, Richard L. Anderson, Skywalker, Warner Bros, Turner Entertainment, Unknown Sound Effects Library, and Valentino.

Please help find the libraries in the above paragraph if you can. And also, I need the SFX libraries used by Alvin Earthworm in his Super Mario Bros Z series (machine gun, chaos emerald glows, Koopa Bros power up with the chaos emerald for their special formation attack, dashing, explosions, punches, kicks, land/fall/hit on a hard surface, death ray, rocket blast offs, special attacks, Koopa Bros thumbs up, Axem Black and Green join to make a axe attack etc.).

Remember the Skywalker sound library I listed? I have yet to find the library for online download.

https://soundeffects.fandom.com/wik..._take_of_multiple_machine_guns_firing_at_once And sound effects like this are from a now discontinued library. I couldn't find it on Source Audio. BTW, this sound file is heard in Total Recall (Arnold Schwarzenegger) where Richter's goons open fire in the escalator scene.

And these sound effects are heard and used literally everywhere (cartoons, movies, TV, and especially video games). Therefore, no one should bother to care who's using them, should they? Looking for one law breaker who's using something very commonly heard is like looking for a needle hidden in a haystack. So I'm certain the head of the copyrighted material wouldn't waste their time and money hunting down one individual with the "illegally" acquired item - let alone millions of them on this planet. Alot of people have used them for their "crappy" stop motion films and they never had problems. Next thing you know, they're gonna invent and mandate a license to "drink rainwater falling from the sky".

P.S, Someone got a copyright strike for their “WoW forest ambience OST” video, and it’s from Hollywood Edge Sound Effects Library. But note: it happened somewhere in 2020 and Hollywood Edge went bankrupt in 2014. Therefore, they as a company shouldn’t exist anymore. That should make you understand how terrible of a copyright control system YouTube has. When it comes to the cyber world, it’s easy to fake lots of things.

Side note: r/Piracy permabanned me for asking for help to acquire a free version of Adobe After Effects. And to this very day, they still continue to mute me for 28 days every time I try to appeal the ban. But I need somewhere to ask on how I can secure a free or cracked version of this software or movie or game or... whatever! And even r/REGames permabanned me for "talking about my torrented game copy" - even though there were no visible rules posted on their subreddit! So now, I need a new place to ask how to decompile old Windows 98 games like Reader Rabbit 1st Grade and Tonka Construction 2. Mainly because... in addition to identifying the sound effects, I also wanna acquire the games' OSTs or BGMs.

BTW, does anyone have a torrent or DL site for the 4K remastered version of Superman II (Lester Cut)? Donner Cut's sound effects aren't very dramatic, so original never can be beat. The 4K remaster of Batman (1989) and Batman Returns (Michael Keaton) both not only have 4K remastered graphics, but some sound effects are remastered too. So I wanna see what sound effects are remastered in the 4K version of Superman II (Lester).

What are all those images and GIFs suppose to mean???
Those images and gifs are meant to be mildly insulting and intended to provoke an emotional reaction because they think it's humourous, however apparently you are somehow immune to memetics.

Usually the recipient of these sorts of memetic images and gifs would react with a degree of anger, which is typically what the posters find humourous.

Basically: mocking you is a little bit funny to them.

The problem is that they may not fully comprehend Autism/or they think you're trolling.

Think of how you are finding it challenging to understand what they mean....

.... because they will be finding it similarly challenging to understand what you mean too.

🤔To be honest, I'm not really sure if I'm making much sense here.
Can you understand what I'm trying to communicate?

Of course I do. 🙂I'm just trying to ignore those insults and get right to finding the answer to my question that oh so got removed from every other site I try to ask this said question.

🤔 Alrighty, firstly I would like to highlight the fact that this post is comprised of a significant amount of surprisingly complex information and is therefore quite challenging to take in all at once.

I personally couldn't provide a genuine answer to any of the specific queries in this post.

Frankly I would be surprised if anyone here actually could provide any meaningful answers to your questions and requests.

@Cartoondude135 are you aware of the potential implications of what you're requesting other individuals to participate with?

ie: supposedly illegal activities.

The reason I ask whether you're aware, is due to the seriousness of the requests you have presented, and very publicly, as obviously illegal activities typically result with legally enforced consequences, and there's very little chance that any average individual would ever consider requests to participate in illegal activities to be at all reasonable.

Lastly, I was wondering if there might be alternative sources for the materials you are seeking—but which may be acquired legally, eg: purchased legitimately?

Well, some of these sound effects libraries are discontinued, so they're not available on any site anymore. So I gotta download them from someone who has a backup copy.

These sound effects are used and heard literally everywhere (cartoons, movies, TV, and especially video games). Therefore, no one should bother to care who's using them, should they? Looking for one law breaker who's using something very commonly heard is like looking for a needle hidden in a haystack. So I'm certain the owner of the copyrighted material wouldn't waste their time and money hunting down one individual with the "illegally" acquired item - let alone millions of them on this planet. Alot of people have used them for their "crappy" stop motion films and they never had problems.

SoundDogs even distribute them for free at the time they were in possession of some of these sound effects, so therefore, it's impossible to go after every illegally copied piece of this sound file.

Yes, thank you. I certainly do get what you are saying here, and these aspects are of secondary concern with respect to what I am trying to communicate with you and also with respect to my questions to you.

So far we have established the following key points:

¹•You are seeking very specific discontinued sound effect libraries.

²•You are an individual who is proficient with computer type stuff.

³•Being that you-yourself are proficient with computer type stuff > yet are requesting another individual volunteer to help you with acquisition of these very specific discontinued sound effect libraries > thus you are seeking an individual with specialized expertise, perhaps a "hacker" maybe.(¿?)

⁴•You also seem to imply there are definitive legalities. Ie: that you are absolutely certain what you are requesting for an individual to voluntarily do on your behalf -is knowingly breaking laws??

Well, laws do change overtime. And so far, I only heard that sound file in Total Recall (1990). So I have high doubts anyone will think this is a stock sound effect; they'll think it was made from scratch via foley or something like that.

Ok, so basically are you saying you're uncertain whether or not your requests would potentially be in breach of laws?

And if you are uncertain, then the reason for mentioning legalities would be-(¿?)–I'm guessing it's perhaps your way of trying to thoroughly communicate your request to potential volunteers?

(ie: so they would be fully informed prior to agreeing to participate?)

*I highlight this because it may be interpreted as variably suspicious to a lot of people.

@Cartoondude135 the only potential help I may be able to suggest, would be to register at my forum @nzfsf.nz and post your discontinued sound effect libraries request there.

There is a member who has decades experience with audio related subjects and who may possibly be able to point you in the right direction—although I can not guarantee he can/or will.
Might be worth a shot.

I'm sure what I'm asking could break laws, but I forgot to add this: with all this new AI audio editing technology, that will be a perfect defense as if the owner were to catch the offender, they wouldn't be able to tell the difference in this sound file whether or not it's their original or it was ripped and isolated via an AI program from another piece of media.

So that's what makes me confident they won't waste their time and resources tracking down one - if not millions with their so-called copyrighted property.

But ok, I'll register at nzfsf.nz once I flush out search okay from my PC.

I’m just trying to do what every ordinary animator does: make animation videos! Something like this: and These guys uploaded it with no problem! Yet the mod bozos treated me like a worldwide-wanted criminal!

I have high doubts that these lego animators ever purchased these sounds. Note: these sound effects were free to download - at least back when SoundDogs was in control of distributing these sounds at that time period.

Although I did manage to find audiolibrary.sonypictures.com and soundideas.souceaudio.com thanks to a tip, this is only part of my mission accomplished. I still need the following: DePatie, DFE, Disney, Elektra Records, Famous Studios, FOX, Star Trek: Original TV Series, Joel Valentine, Hacienda, Hanna Barbera, Horta, Horta Hacienda, Alex Fresno, BBC, Bob Clampett, Harry Bluestone, Nickelodeon, Nelvana, New Warner Bros, NTWK, OMI, Pro Sound Effects, PSEL, Rocky and Bullwinkle, 20th Century Fox, Audio Effects Co., Rich Harrison, Mark Mangini, Richard L. Anderson, Skywalker, Warner Bros, Turner Entertainment, Unknown Sound Effects Library, and Valentino libraries in addition to the sounds used in Super Mario Bros Z (original) to complete my mission. Also, anything listed here https://soundeffects.fandom.com/wiki/Sound_Ideas_Canada_Ltd. but not available via Source Audio.

And one more: stock music like from reality shows such as Most Shocking Police videos.

Why don’t YOU give me advice where I can seek this answer
for free? LOL

That's what you call 'animation'...? Legos?

Ever see Wallace and Grommet?

Now THAT is animation!

That said, I think you've discovered your niche!

Get a good recorder and start recording all these 'sound effects' and market them to animators.

Traffic noise is everywhere. 'Sounds' are everywhere!

Be creative! One of the space laser sounds (i forget the movie) was a guy wacking a telephone pole cable!

The world is your oyster!

And now, AV Forums replied in an email reply that

"you were flagged as a spammer elsewhere in the internet, we rejected your registration before you got the chance to post your links to the YouTube videos.
And in any case, what sound effect libraries? Someone would have to watch the videos for a long time to hear enough sound effects and be familiar with sounds effects libraries to identify them. The request is so unreasonable that moderators on forums are more likely to consider your post as made to promote the videos. And that’s likely why you got flagged as a spammer elsewhere on the internet.
And being flagged means you’re going to have trouble registering with a lot of forums, now."

What do they expect? I have to try asking this on any site that looks like it accepts the topic they see before their very eyes. Libraries for categorized sounds like crashes, cartoons, machines, servos, vehicles, actions, etc. Also, I need to illustrate with these videos as examples that show these are non-profiteers using these sound effects in their entertainment videos.

Honestly dude, perhaps it'd be advantageous in the long run to consider introspection/or at least seeking to develop an objective 'third person' perspective of-self, and I specifically mean of your-self. As in: how most others would variably perceive of the peculiarities you're focused on prioritizing. I'm not suggesting others are right or wrong, or that you're right or wrong. I'm just trying to highlight that the common individual would find the subjects you're focusing on, to be very unusual.
The reality is that no good comes of assuming one's-self possesses the "correct" view and everyone else is "wrong". We all have our flaws and we only grow as individuals by acknowledging and seeking to address our own shortcomings no matter what they may be.

I like my idea better... more creative...

Yet 'another' tactful suggestion would be to ask on a forum "Where can I purchase xyz?" Folks in-the-know would be glad to tell you "Hey, those files are freely available and here's the link!" or not.

In that way you won't get flagged as a spammer automatically.

Now that you ARE 'flagged' I haven't a clue how you would go about fixing that problem.

Change your username? Email account?? IP addy??? Identity????

Good luck!
